ILOILO City – Police arrested a man for illegal gambling in Barangay Binalud, Alimodian, Iloilo.
The 31-year-old Airon Rendon of Barangay Tanza Bonifacio in this city was taken to the Alimodian police station.
Police chanced upon Rendon allegedly facilitating a “color game” around 7 p.m. on Dec. 16.
Recovered from his possession were three pieces of dice, a wooden board and bet money which amounted to P283.
The suspect was detained. He faces a charge for violation of Presidential Decree 1602, which prescribes stiffer penalties against forms of gambling./PN
