ILOILO City – John Baseo has been charged with illegal gambling.
Police arrested the 36-year-old in Barangay Poblacion, Banate, Iloilo.
Officers served the resident of Barangay Alacaygan, Banate a warrant of arrest on Monday, a police report showed.
Baseo was accused of violating Republic Act 9287.
Judge Rogelio Amador of the Regional Trial Court Branch 66 issued the warrant against him and set the bail bond at P20,000.
Baseo was hauled to the custodial facility of the Banate police station./PN
