ILOILO City – Around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, a resident of Barangay Poblacion Sur, Ivisan, Capiz fired a .357 revolver in Barangay Agmalobo, Ivisan.
Scared residents alerted barangay officials, who in turn placed under citizen’s arrest the suspect – 39-year-old Gilbert Vallejo.
Vallejo was detained at the municipal police station. His gun was seized.
Police said the suspect would be charged with violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
