KALIBO, Aklan – For illegal possession of firearms, a man was arrested at the public market in Barangay Andagao.
Police identified him as the 63-year-old Santo Niño Village resident Canoto Fuentes.
Officers from the municipal police station caught Fuentes after recovering from him a .38-caliber firearm (serial number CCH4461) loaded with six live bullets.
Fuentes was detained at the municipal police station lockup facility and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
