BACOLOD City – Six men were arrested for an alleged unauthorized sale of petroleum products in Barangay 2.
Police identified them as residents 43-year-old Fidel Orolan, 45-year-old Darius Danay, 22-year-old Justin Abilay including three brothers Carlo, Romar and Reymon Arevalo of Barangay Banago.
Nine gallons of crude oil and P5,510 cash were confiscated from the suspects, police said.
They were caught in the act engaging in illegal sale of petroleum products around 2 a.m. on June 5, the police added.
The suspects were detained in the lockup facility of Police Station 2, facing charges for violation of Presidential Decree 1865, which prohibits illegal trading of petroleum products./PN
