BACOLOD City – A man was caught for possession of illegal firearms in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental on April 10.
Operatives of the Kabankalan City police station, along with other law enforcement agents, arrested 42- year-old Dindo Labaro.
A loaded .45 caliber pistol was recovered from the suspect at a checkpoint in Barangay Magballo, around 5 p.m.
Labaro was then detained in the city police station jail.
The suspect faces a charge for violating Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
