BACOLOD City – A farmer was shot to death in Barangay Pinggot, Ilog, Negros Occidental.
The 38-year-old resident Virgel Loquinario sustained gunshot wounds on the body. He died on the spot, a police report showed.
According to police investigators, five unidentified suspects fired at Loquinario using unidentified firearms around 5 a.m. on July 7.
Officers of the Ilog municipal police station have yet to identify the suspects and the motive in the killing./PN
