BACOLOD City – He had gunshot and stab wounds on the body when found along the road in Sitio Compound, Barangay Dancalan, Ilog, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
Attending physician Dr. John Dexter Lopez pronounced the 30-year-old Edwin Cadungog “dead on arrival” at the Lorenzo Zayco District Hospital in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
Cadungog – a resident of Barangay Dancalan – was found around 4 p.m. on Wednesday lying unconscious beside the road.
A motorist who passed by saw Cadungog and informed the police.
Officers from the Ilog municipal police station were still identifying the suspect and motive in Cadungog’s death./PN
