BACOLOD City – Charged with three counts of rape, a man was arrested in Sitio Lapak, Barangay 2, Ilog, Negros Occidental.
The 58-year-old laborer Rodrigo Obida was caught at around 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, a police report showed.
Obida was nabbed on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Ernesto Abilay of the Regional Trial Court Branch 10 in San Jose, Antique.
He was detained in the municipal police station lockup cell. He was set to be transferred to the Tobias Fornier police station in Antique.
The court did not recommend a bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
