July 29’s highlight was the release of race bibs, the sumptuous food fair, and the biker’s forum (which features our very own cycling world’s leading players: Valerie De Guzman, Cristine Grace Sales, Rafie Llego, Abraham Vega, and Coach Norberto Oconer, Paracycling Olympian and Gold Medalist).
Jul 30 begins at 4:00 AM for the Tour of Iloilo Double Century Ride and at 6:00 AM for Criterium (Mountain Bike Category).
July 31 caps the Festival with a Criterium Race (Road Bike Category) at 6:00 AM, a Kiddie Race at 8:00 AM, an Iloilo City Bike Tour in the afternoon, and the Awarding and Closing Ceremonies at 6:00 PM.

oilo City’s endeavor by sponsoring brand new bicycles for the “Iloilo Bike Festival 2022”. Bikes shall be raffled off during the festival with another set to be donated to frontliners.
Iloilo City, as the regional center of Western Visayas, aims to be known as the “Bike Capital of the Philippines”. The City Government has seen not only the importance of biking as a hobby or sport but as an environment-friendly and budget-friendly way of getting around. This year, the Iloilo City Government, and the Iloilo Festivals Foundation, Inc. (IFFI) have joined with other stakeholders to mount the “Iloilo Bike Festival 2022” with the theme “#BikeKaNaman sa Iloilo City – A Safe, Scenic and Sustainable Biking in Iloilo City”.
Filipinos have taken a renewed interest in biking for health and leisure. For the young and young-at-heart, it has become more than just a mode of transportation. Pedaling your way brings so many health benefits. It improves balance, keeps your heart and muscles in top shape, and helps keep depression and anxiety at bay. Overall, bikers enjoy a stronger immune system, lung function, coordination, endurance, and stamina.
The Iloilo Bike Festival 2022 takes place from July 29-31, 2022 at the Iloilo Business Park and will include thousands of bike enthusiasts from Iloilo City and different parts of the Visayas.
