ILOILO – Over 2,000 employees of the provincial government are set to receive P25,000 collective negotiation agreement (CNA) incentive either this week or next week.
The CNA incentive is granted to all qualified Iloilo provincial government employees occupying regular, temporary, elective, co-terminus, contractual/casual employees under the approved plantilla of positions whose salaries are paid from personnel services appropriations/budget, whether on full time or part time basis, categorized as follows:
* Rank-and-file employees who are active members of the Association of Iloilo Provincial Government Employees (AIPGE)
* Rank-and file employees who are non-members of the AIPGE but want to enjoy or accept benefits under the CNA, subject to payment of Agency Fee in the amount of P1,000 deductible to their respective payrolls/vouchers.
* Those who perform managerial functions, as defined by the Civil Service rules, including but not limited to the Governor, Vice Governor, Members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, Provincial Government Department Head, Provincial Government Assistant Department Head and Chief of Hospital.
On Dec. 21, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) approved Appropriation Ordinance No. 2021-05 authorizing Supplemental Budget No. 4 – General Fund of P35,050,000 to fund the CAN.
All chiefs of offices, chiefs of hospital, and administrative officers of each department offices were advised to submit supporting documents of employees. These were the following:
* First Day of service in the provincial government
* Number of days of Leave of Absence Without Pay, if applicable
* Last day of service for separated personnel,
* Amount of agency fee or other allowable deductions./PN
