During the Basic Entrepreneurship Training and Startup 101 orientation facilitated by the Local Economic Development and Investment Promotion (LEDIP) Center on Aug. 9 at the provincial capitol lobby, Provincial Administrator Raul Banias delivered the welcome message on behalf of Defensor.
Banias said the Defensor administration continues to support initiatives that prioritize the well-being of the youth, particularly those that embrace green skills and contribute to sustainability.
“In our pursuit of progress and development, we are fortunate to have a visionary leader in Governor Toto of MoRProGRes. His mantra of development is not just about economic growth but also about improving the lives of our people, especially our youth. Under his guidance, we are striving to bridge the gaps in our education system, ensuring that quality education reaches every corner of our province,” he said.
Banias added: “We recognize that a sustainable future hinges on equipping our youth with the skills that will allow them to contribute positively to our society and environment. Today’s program on Basic Entrepreneurship Training and Startup 101 is a testament to our commitment. As we encourage young minds to delve into the world of business, we also emphasize the importance of doing so with a green perspective — a perspective that nurtures not only economic growth but also environmental stewardship.”
