ILOILO – Three district hospitals in this province each got an air-conditioned isolation area.

The recipients were the Don Valerio Palmares District Hospital (Passi City), the Ramon Duremdes Memorial District Hospital (Dumangas) and the Ramon Tabiana Memorial District Hospital (Cabatuan).

Gov. Arthur Defensor Jr. and the chiefs of hospitals received the isolation zones composed of hospital tents with accessories through a simple turnover ceremony in front of the National Museum-Western Visayas.

The donations were from the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International through the Rotary Club of Metro Iloilo District 3850 and Korea-Donghae Rotary Club District 3730.

The donation worth $US 65,000 consisted of the following:

*  two units “colemate” powered air purifying respirator

*  400 sets gazmat suit

*  4,000 pieces KN 95 protective face mask

*  100 boxes disposable nitrile hand floves

*  2,000 pieces protective face shield

*  10 pairs white rubber boots

*  one unit brand new power city power fenerating Set 20 KVA with trailer

*  one unit “Alpinter” Hub 72 multi-purpose hospital tent with corresponding velcro connecting strip & ceiling insulation

*  30 units folding cotbed

*  90 pieces cotbed sheet cover with rotary print

*  90 pieces pillow case

*  30 pieces pillow

*  one unit three tonner air conditioning unit split type floor mounted with electrical connection.
