ILOILO – The provincial government is inviting those who have yet to avail themselves of the vaccine against coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) to join the “People Power Resbakuna”, a vaccination drive for all ages at the capitol lobby on Feb. 24 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The campaign is in line with the commemoration of the 36th anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution with the theme, “EDSA 2022: Pagtutulungan Tungo sa Sama-Samang Pagbangon mula sa Pandemya.”
It is open to registered and walk-in clients of all age group ranging from the pediatric population aged five to 11 and 12 to 17, and the general public of 18 years old and above.
The provincial government will also give booster shots.
Requirements for the five to 11 years old include birth certificate of the child, valid identification card of the child with picture, valid ID of parent or guardian with picture, and medical certificate for those with comorbidities.
Only vaccination card is required for those who will receive booster shots.
The vaccines available are Sinovac, AstraZeneca, Janssen, Pfizer, and Moderna.
The provincial government launched the “People Power Resbakuna” on Feb. 21 by offering booster shots to capitol employees and the general public at the capitol lobby.
It also conducts regular vaccination at Robinsons Place Pavia every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and at the West Visayas State University Cultural Center every Friday. (Capitol news)
