ILOILO – The provincial government of Iloilo is still requiring inbound travelers negative results of their reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test 72 hours prior to entering this province.
Flights and sea trips in Western Visayas resumed on April 20.
“I-implement naton gihapon ini sa tanan nga inbound travelers, particular na ang returning residents and authorized persons outside residence (APORs),” Acting Provincial Administrator Suzette Mamon told Panay News.
The move aimed at safeguarding Ilonggos against the threat of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Starting April 20, returning residents and APORs from the National Capital Region (NCR) and the provinces of Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal, Davao City and Cebu City were allowed to enter Western Visayas.
Aside from the negative RT-PCR test result, here are the other requirements that must be complied:
For returning residents:
* approved S-Pass (Safe, Swift & Smart Passage). S-Pass is an online system which can be accessed through https:// s-pass.ph
* notice of acceptance/coordination from barangay/municipality of travel destination (can be secured through the municipal S-Pass focal person)
* valid government issued identification
For APORs:
* approved S-Pass (Safe, Swift & Smart Passage)
* travel order/ itinerary of travel/mission order/certificate of employment
* notice of acceptance/coordination from barangay/municipality of travel destination (can be secured through the municipal S-Pass Focal Person)
* valid government issued identification
Returning overseas Filipino workers, meanwhile, are advised to coordinate with the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration for specific requirements./PN
