ILOILO – The provincial government is set to receive an additional 13,500 doses of Pfizer coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccine from the Department of Health (DOH) for children from five to 11 years old.
According to Dr. Maria Socorro Colmenares-Quiñon, head of the Iloilo Provincial Health Office (IPHO), the vaccines would be distributed to 43 local government units (LGUs).
IPHO data showed that as of March 31, 18,107 kids five to 11 years old (6.77 percent of the 267,470 target) were now deemed fully vaccinated against COVID-19).

Quiñon assured parents that the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is safe.
