Iloilo’s No. 2 most wanted falls

ILOILO – The No. 2 most wanted person in the province of Iloilo was arrested in Barangay Seminario, Jaro, Iloilo City on Tuesday afternoon, March 7.

The 30-year-old driver, Jessie James Ayala, a rape suspect, was a resident of Barangay Taft, Santa Barbara, Iloilo.

He was also the No. 5 most wanted person in the municipality of Pavia.

Ayala was caught by the Tracker Team of the Pavia Municipal Police Station (MPS), led by chief Police Major Rolando Araño, together with the Regional Intelligence Unit-6, Iloilo Provincial Police-Intelligence Unit and the Anti-Kidnapping Group Visayas Field Unit.

Araño said Ayala was charged with raping a minor in Tigbauan, Iloilo sometime in 2019.

The arrest was made through a warrant issued on June 25, 2022, by Hon. Elijo Sharon Ronzales Herrera-Billones, Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court 6.

No bail was recommended.

Ayala is being held at the Pavia MPS./PN
