Ilongga claims P401-M Grand Lotto jackpot prize

ILOILO City – An Ilongga won the recent Philippine Charity Sweeptakes Office’s (PCSO) Grand Lotto draw. She already claimed her prize.

According to PCSO, the 34-year-old housewife claimed her P401,186,804.80 jackpot prize on July 25, 2022.

For our safety na din po,” according to the winner as reported by PCSO.

The Ilongga was the lone jackpot winner. Her winning number combination of 2, 18, 49, 7, 19, and 47 was drawn on July 9, 2022.

The winner appealed to the PCSO to keep the details about her and her family confidential for their safety.

She plans to put up a business in Iloilo province and make donations.

“Bilang pasasalamat po sa Diyos. Dahil sa biyayang ipinagkaloob niya, magbibigay po ako sa aming simbahan at mag-do-donate din po ako sa mga charity centers and foundations na tumutulong sa mga kapos-palad,” she said.

The winner also expressed her gratitude to the PCSO.

According to the PCSO, lotto prizes not claimed by winners within one year from date of draw shall be considered forfeited based on Republic Act 1169.

Prizes above P10 million are subject to 20 percent tax pursuant to the Train Law.

This is not the first time that a bettor from Iloilo won the jackpot prize in lotto.

In 2018, a bettor from Iloilo province became P53-million richer after bagging the jackpot in the PCSO Grand Lotto 6/55 while in 2016, a 65-year-old male retiree from this city also won P76.1-million jackpot prize of the Mega Lotto 6/45./PN
