MANILA – Iloilo City-based taekwondo jins delivered medals in the recognized poomsae event of the 4th Lents Taekwondo Worldwide Sports Online Poomsae Open 2021 held over the weekend.

A. Diasnes Taekwondo Gym showed promise in the online poomsae tournament with a total of six medals – three gold and three bronze.

Cindy Joy Diasnes and Alfie Diasnes spearheaded the gold haul for the A. Diasnes taekwondo jins as they finished on top in the mixed pair over 17 blackbelt category.

Kian Ezekiel Castigador also captured a gold medal in the Individual Kids Male Color Belts 2nd – 1st KUP under 11 year olds, while Ayna Tajanlangit nabbed gold in Individual Female Color Belts 2nd – 1st KUP under 30 year olds.

Seth Ryan Engojo Templanza, Jesseray Lucas Frantilla and Jan Andrew Gancero captured the bronze medal in the Team Male Blackbelt under 17 year olds category.

Elisha Aguilar, Ela Borres and Camille Tanagon also took the bronze medal in the Team Female Blackbelt under 17.

Zachary Te Aguirre ended with bronze in the Individual Male Blackbelt over 30.

Andria Margaret Palabrica, meanwhile, bannered the Mark V. Pinggol Taekwondo Gym squad with her gold medal in the Female under 11, 2nd-1st KUP category.

Cyd Edryc Esmaña took a silver medal in the Cadet Male Blackbelt event. He also teamed up with Julianna Martha Uy in the Mixed Pair under 17 for Pinggol stable’s second silver.

The trio of Enzo Lucio Cape, Geon Ivan Dulaca and Justin Adrian Apura captured the taekwondo squad’s lone bronze medal in Male Team Blackbelt under 17 category.

Overall, Pinggol’s team has three gold, four silver and two bronze medals in Lents as they also captured two gold, one silver and one bronze medals in the tournament’s beach poomsae two weeks ago./PN
