Ilonggo jins score medals in online taekwondo tilt

MANILA – Ilonggo jins from different taekwondo stables in the province and city of Iloilo harvested medals in the recently concluded 2021 PTA MVPSF/Smart Visayas Online Speed Kicking Championship.

The Iloilo MVP Taekwondo Gym had a dominant showing with gold medals from Angela Bermejo, Nieka Thalia Guevara, Amber Gale Abellar, Christine Jade Roncesvalles, Jeremiah Miguel Ong, Nathan Lee Didal, Arvin Derayunan, Dwight Dating, Vincent Cayetano, Vienne Dulaca, Charee Genecala, Ianna Rosales, Phil Regalado, Viene Marie Dulaca, Jenelle Tionko, Alicia Gutierrez, Lindsy Degayo, Shanen Feranco, Niesha Pequieda, Geon Dulaca, Alexis Araneta, and Red Lusaya.

The squad garnered silver medals behind impressive performances by Tiffany Greme Derayunan, Christian Palacios, John Duhina, Alex Dugayo Jr., Pearl Rosales, Jenella Tionko, Alyannah Tionko, Shires Pastolero, Alicia Gutierrez, Anthony Planta, Denzel Espadilla, Phil Margaico, Sirhc Damaolao, Sirch Damaolao, Maria Santos, Andria Palabrica, Justin Apura, Lindsy Degayo, Marielle Lagamo, and Sophia Go.

Winning bronze for the team of head coach Denmark Pinggol were Ryza Tabucuran, Shan Bayatan, Alyzza Alindote, Johann Macanas, Margarette Obsequio, Aron Aquidado, Adrian Gajasan III, Gabriel Capadosa, Margette Obsequio, Joycie Tacuel, Adriel Balberona, Eujean Castete, Jannah Velez, and Justin Apura.

Meanwhile, Zion Guinez, Abrahan Pajemonin, Jasmine Badoles, Rojohn dela Cruz, Almar Diasnes, Kristi Siscar, Elizabeth Borres, Markishi Ting, Aryan Rangas, Elaine Borres, Rojohn dela Cruz, Carl Taganon, Sherimei Hojilla, and Alfie Diasnes reaped gold medals for the A. Diasnes Taekwondo team.  

Guinez, Franz Fernandez, Artha Tanagon, Airon Aguana, Zachary Aguirre, Ehyan Talabucon, Crizzel Ahmed and Jesseray Frantilla and bronzes from Gabrielle Dacumos, Kenzo Orocio, Mariel Siscar, Elisha Aguilar, Ayenne Quialquial, Jesserey Frantilla, Maria Muyuela, Franz Fernandez, Ayenna Quialquial, and Janua Tacsagon bagged silver medals for the Iloilo City-based taekwondo squad.

NEB1 Academy, for its part, notched gold medal from Ujan Bargo, Cham Toledo, Kynt Palomar, Ysabel Legayda, Frances Cabiling, Anna Marie Gabunas, Jo Ann Orbigoso, Owen Villar, Kian Villar, Ujan Bargo, Edgar Caraecle, Samanthaa Fiebre, Ysabel Legayada, and Francis Cabiling.

The team also had silver medals from Ma. Christina Caraecle, Ginny Palomar and Kynt Palomar, and bronzes from Frances Cabiling, Owen Jared Villar, Kian Villar, Mary Dalida, Ginny Palomar, Carl Ortigoso, Angel Joy Biscara, Mary Dalida, Cham Toledo, Carl Ortigoso, Aiyhesza Lauron, Portia Lauresta, Chloe Patnubay, Joseph Lasado, and Angel Gicole.

Seth Ryan Taekwondo Academy also had a gold haul from Seth Ryan Templanza, Jazmyne Gales, Micaeah Gales, Jamy Gwen Gales, Ramsi Maban, Princess Mana-ay, Rogin Seguiran, and David Gales.

The taekwondo stable also won silvers from Michell Gales, Reggie Templanza Jr. and Rogin Segurigan, and bronzes from Seth Ryan Templanza, Michaella Planta, Mary Angela Manabat, Jaym Gales, Jason Tordesillas, Sarah Mana-ay, and Reggie Templanza Jr.

On the other hand, Zarraga Taekwondo Dojang dlinched gold medals from Prinz Khyzyl Eufan, Precious Janna Subong, Estelle Marie Abentino, Djezelree Clavel and Herlyn Mende, silvers from Dominique Sudayan, Sean Sobere, Trexy Redondo and Frea Nadine Bedeo, and bronze medals from Jaden Paul Aranjuez, Jerrell Sencida, Kevin Tayo Rumpel, and Sofhie Miser.

Furthermore, RJTG Pavia Iloilo secured gold medals from Ann Guaro, Van Guaro, and Blesie Gumban; silvers from Vince Miñon, Ron Lutero, Xian Bayasca, Nesryl Gepanyao, and Dave Pagayon; and bronzes from Althea Francine Villar, Chris Miñon, and Jandy Jancillan. Coach Flora Taekwondo squad had bronzes from John Caleb Bautista, Isaiah Bradley Yap, and Elijah Yap./PN
