ILOILO City – For illegal possession of firearm, a man was arrested in Barangay Guintas, Leganes, Iloilo.
The 20-year-old Allen Dequilla was taken to the Leganes municipal police station after village chief Anita Gigawan arrested him.
It was around 9:30 p.m. on Jan. 1 when Dequilla was caught in possession of an improvised .38-caliber revolver.
Dequilla was not able to present the gun’s license, police said.
He was detained and charged for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
