ILOILO City – Police nabbed a man for illegal possession of firearm in Barangay Malunang, Zarraga, Iloilo.
The 51-year-old Fernando Subano of Barangay Abat, Mina, Iloilo was taken to the municipal police station.
Village officials initially apprehended Subano around 9:45 p.m. on Saturday after they saw a gun tucked in the suspect’s pants.
Responding police officers confiscated the gun, which was a .45-caliber pistol loaded with two bullets, when Subano failed to present a license.
The gun was now in the custody of the town police.
