BACOLOD City – Police nabbed a man for illegal possession of firearm in Barangay Old Sagay, Sagay City, Negros Occidental.
He was 27-year-old resident Joe Molina, a police report showed.
Police officers initially approached Molina after the latter was seen not wearing his face masks.
When frisked, the suspect yielded an improvised 12-gauge shotgun and two live bullets which do not have a license.
The suspect was detained in the custodial facility of the Sagay City police station.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act will be filed against the suspect./PN
