ILOILO City – For possessing an improvised firearm, a resident of Barangay Iwa Ilaud, Pototan, Iloilo was arrested.
A .38-caliber revolver loaded with five live bullets was seized from 20-year-old Robio Patubo. He was taken to the municipal police station.
Prior to his arrest, Patubo and Rex Frio, 20, of Barangay Fundacion, Pototan figured in a heated argument.
The suspect then allegedly threatened Frio with his gun. Frio ran away and sought help.
Patubo faces charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
