ILOILO City – For illegal possession of firearm, a man was arrested in Barangay District III, Sibalom, Antique.
Police nabbed resident Vicente Pelingon around 11:45 p.m. on Tuesday, a police report showed.
An improvised .45-caliber pistol loaded with one bullet was recovered from Pelingon.
He was detained in the lockup cell of the Sibalom municipal police station, facing charges for violation of the election gun ban and Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Act./PN
