ILOILO City – Police raided a house in Barangay Madong, Janiuay, Iloilo, leading to the recovery of a loose firearm.
An improvised 12-gauage shotgun loaded with two live bullets was seized from 47-year-old resident Antonio Randera around 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 5, a police report showed.
The police conducted the raid on the strength of a search warrant issued by Judge Gemalyn Faunillo-Tarol of the Regional Trial Court Branch 76 in Janiuay dated Aug. 4, 2020. The suspect was detained in the custodial facility of the Janiuay municipal police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
