BACOLOD City – A detainee in the municipal police station of Cauayan, Negros Occidental was found dead yesterday.
Police Officer 1 Glenn Gregas said he was checking on the detainees when he found Ranie Boy Grande hanging inside the comfort room with a lace tied around his neck around 7:30 a.m.
The police officers then alerted the municipal rescue team which then responded.
The rescuers rushed Grande to the Cauayan Health Unit where Dr. Febie Vidal pronounced him dead.
Police have yet to rule out foul play in the death. Investigation was ongoing./PN
