BACOLOD City – A 28-year old man was stabbed on Nov. 1 in Barangay Maricalum, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental.
The victim was identified as Benjie Biasong, resident.
Sipalay City police station’s investigation revealed that the victim and his four companions arrived at the store owned by Estelita Garcia in Purok Mainuswagon at around 12:35 p.m.
The victim was observed to be under the influence of liquor, police said, adding that they were cautioned by the store owner not to cause disturbance but they ignored her.
Moments later suspect Remias Zamora, went out from the house of Garcia and suddenly stabbed Biasong, hitting on the back.
The victim was brought to the Sipalay City Infirmary but was referred to one of the hospitals in this city.
