ILOILO – The director of the Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO) confirmed on Friday, Nov. 11, that he will not return to Manila unless a case on the killing of three young businessmen in the town of Estancia is filed.

According to Police Colonel Noel Aliño, this is his promise to the families of the victims to show that he is serious about the investigation and attaining justice.

The province’s top cop also expressed his continuous support to the Special Investigation Task Group (SITG) “Palibosfer”.

Hindi ako uuwi ng Manila hangga’t hindi napa-file ang kaso. Pangako ko iyan sa pamilya at sa mga kasamahan ko na nag-iimbestiga sa kaso,” Aliño said.

It has been almost two months since the three businessmen — Jan Paul Mark Bosque, Mark Libao and Chrysler Floyd Fernandes — were killed in Barangay Villa Pani-an, Estancia.

Jevron Parohinog, the lone survivor, first narrated to the authorities that he and the three fatalities were onboard a white Isuzu MUX when attacked by motorcycle-riding gunmen around 12:30 a.m. on Sept. 14 in Barangay Pani-an.

Bosque owned the vehicle, but Parohinog was driving it.

SITG “Palibosfer” has already identified several suspects and has also established a motive in the crime but declined to disclose  with the pending filing of charges./PN
