ILOILO – The Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO) recovered 19 loose firearms in a week – from March 7 to March 13.
Two were seized each in Alimodian and Lambunao towns and one was recovered from each of the following: Leon, San Miguel, Zarraga, Bingawan, Calinog, Maasin, Banate, Barotac Nuevo, Dueñas, Dumangas, Passi City, Barotac Viejo, Batad, Estancia, and Lemery.
IPPO director, Police Colonel Adrian Acollador urged police stations to sustain the campaign against loose guns, pointing out that the May 9 elections are fast approaching./PN
