VIEWERS and fans of the noontime show “It’s Showtime” on Tuesday, April 16, were surprised to see Atty. Oliver Moeller, the “sporty lawyer ng Cebu” and former searchee of the hit segment “EXpecially for You.”
Because of this unexpected visit, Moeller got teased by Vice Ganda and the rest of the hosts.
In an exclusive interview with ABS-CBN News backstage, Moeller said he’s overwhelmed with the attention that he’s receiving. After his first guesting last April 6, he trended online to the point that netizens even reposted his workout videos.
“It’s been crazy overwhelming. I never thought that people would actually watch that. I just do it for fun just putting out content out there,” he said.
But he admitted that his one-time guesting opened another door for him – a possible career in showbiz that he is open to entering.
“It’s just like expanding my netwrok, expanding my connections. Maybe looking some things in Manila,” he said.
We asked him straight: Does he have plans to give showbusiness a try?
“I am actually considering it. Partly the reason why I’m here,” he said.
His interaction with “Showtime” host Kim Chiu created abuzz online with some fans shipping their instant chemistry on TV. According to sources, the lawyer had a crush on Chiu prior to his TV guesting.
He replied: “I’ve always thought Kim was a pretty person, also from Cebu so I guess you can say that.”
Is he courting Chiu?
LHe said: “I don’t think it’s fair that I speak about that without her permission. Sorry I hope you understand. Kim is pretty nice.” (ABS-CBN News)
