BACOLOD City – A man was stabbed dead in Barangay 5, Isabela, Negros Occidental.
Police identified the victim as Jose Anillo, 45, of the town’s Barangay Bulad.
Tagged suspect was 46-year-old Bienvinido Pordan.
Investigation revealed that the victim was cleaning his motorcycle around 2:30 a.m. on July 25 when attacked by the suspect from behind using a jungle knife.
Anillo was rushed to the Ignacio L. Arroyo Memorial District Hospital but the attending physician declared him dead.
The suspect, meanwhile, was detained in the lockup cell of the Isabela police station./PN
