BACOLOD City – A man was wounded in a shooting incident in Hacienda Alicante, Barangay Bungahin, Isabela, Negros Occidental.
Police identified him as Custodio Donesa.
Donesa – resident of Barangay Poblacion 4, Isabela – sustained a gunshot wound on the neck.
According to police investigation, the victim was riding a motorcycle driven by his nephew when an unidentified motorcycle-riding suspect shot him around 6:15 a.m. on Tuesday.
Donesa was brought to the Ignacio Arroyo Memorial District Hospital in Isabela but was later transferred to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in Bacolod City for medical treatment.
Officers of the municipal police station have yet to identify the suspect and the motive in the incident./PN
