Isabela mayor orders lockdown of municipal hall

Mayor of Isabela, Negros Occidental Irene Montilla ordered the municipal hall be put on lockdown, after two municipal and two government officials tested positive for COVID-19.

Montilla said the municipal employees were assigned in the Office of the Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator, and Office of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development.

Meanwhile, the government personnel worked at the Department of Education in Isabela National High School, and the Commission on Election.

Montilla said the lockdown will take effect starting today, May 31, until June 2, Wednesday.

The municipal employees have been ordered to work from home, while the other offices located outside the Municipal Hall such as the Municipal Health Office, Local Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office, Office of the General Services, and Office of the Municipal Engineer will continue accepting transactions./PN
