BACOLOD City – The office of the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of Barangay Bulad, Isabela, Negros Occidental was ransacked on Sunday night, Dec. 17.
Isabela police chief Captain Ar-jay Dangarang said the burglary was discovered by the barangay tanods when they opened the SK office late Sunday night.
Tanods said computers, keyboards and system units were either damaged or destroyed.
Several computer parts such as the mouse were missing while some of the office’s files were found crumpled and torn apart.
“The SK Council and barangay officials are doing our best to ensure that we provide quality services to our constituents. Hence, we look forward in receiving the respect that we deserve. However, there are people who wish nothing but harm, disrespect, and destruction,” the SK of Barangay Bulad posted in their official Facebook page.
As of this writing, Isabela police were still investigating the incident. (Watchmen Daily Jorunal)/PN
