Isabela’s No. 10 most wanted caught

BACOLOD City – He was listed as the No. 10 most wanted person in the police station of Isabela, Negros Occidental.

The 34-year-old Ronnie Belando Marfil was arrested around 11 a.m. on Saturday in Barangay Tabu, Ilog, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.

Marfil – a resident of Barangay Cabcab, Isabela – faces a murder charge before the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 63 in La Carlota City, Negros Occidental.

Joint personnel from the Ilog and Isabela municipal police stations staged Marfil’s apprehension on the strength of an arrest warrant that Judge Anita Guanzon-Chua of the La Carlota City RTC issued on March 16, 2015.

Marfil was detained, awaiting proper disposition.

No bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
