MANILA Mayor Isko Moreno gave an exclusive interview to Push about his past daring career in showbiz being used against him.
According to Moreno, he is not ashamed of his former career as he learned a lot from it and made him grow as a person. He added that as a showbiz personality back then, he did not do anything wrong or illegal in his daring photoshoots.
“Makikita ninyo ‘yung buong katawan ko except ‘yung harapan ko. Eh, ano naman ngayon? Artista ako, eh, at wala akong nakikitang masama sa ginawa ko,” he said.
The mayor also stated that he never hid his former career and that his life and his struggles are an open book.
“Wala naman maitatago pa sa akin. Bulatlat na ang buhay ko. Open book naman yan! Meron akong ups and downs, mga challenges. It was made public. It’s an open book. I’m not ashamed of that,” he explained.
The issue about Moreno’s past started when President Rodrigo Duterte slammed a certain Metro Manila mayor whose training is supposedly like that of a “call boy.”
Duterte also asked the public if they want the next president of the country to be someone who did daring photoshoots in the past. Many believed that he was referring to Moreno since the latter is the only Metro Manila mayor with such a past.(KAMI)
