BACOLOD City – A jail guard was shot dead while on board his motorcycle on Angatan Bridge, Dumaguete City, a police report showed.
He was identified as Dumaguete City resident Artemio Zerna, who works at the Negros Oriental provincial jail facility.
The shooting happened around 10 a.m. on Thursday, the report stated.
Zerna was on his way home at the time, police said.
