JAKE Ejercito marked a new milestone in his running journey after completing the Budapest Spring Half Marathon.
On his Instagram page, Jake shared that he finished the half marathon in 1 hour, 44 minutes, and 24 seconds, which is his best time so far. He beat his previous record by 7 minutes and 15 seconds.
He attributed this new achievement to hard work and his faith. “Grind paid off, no plot twists — all Him,” he said.
He also expressed his gratitude to those who supported him throughout the race.
Appreciate all those who checked in! Biiig shoutout to @iyamaniya & @chinoalarilla for getting up early to make a surprise appearance and turning their e-tix into hype material! legends,” he said.
Jake also revealed his next marathon destination. “Next up: Chicagooo,” he unveiled.
Aside from marathons, Jake also pursues hiking.
Back in September of last year, he went hiking in Scotland.
“6 days solo hiking the West Highland Way and Scotland pulled all the stops: 30km days, change in weather every 15 mins, a wild dip, midges— lotsa midges, wonderful strangers, even better sights,” he posted last year. (Push Team)
