ILOILO City – His attempt on his life failed, police said.
The 23-year-old farmer John Rex Albuna allegedly tried to kill himself by stabbing his stomach with a knife on Tuesday.
Police said Albuna – a resident of Barangay Barasalon, Janiuay, Iloilo – did this after a woman he was wooing turned him down.
Albuna was currently receiving treatment at the Western Visayas Medical Center in Mandurriao district./PN
