ILOILO City – Charged with murder, a man was arrested in Barangay Matag-ub, Janiuay, Iloilo.
He was 63-year-old resident Pablo Acollador, a police report showed.
Acollador tried to evade arrest but failed when police officers caught him on the strength of an arrest warrant around 1:45 p.m. on Aug. 24, it added.
A .38-caliber revolver with six live bullets was recovered from his possession, police said.
Acollador was detained in the lockup cell of the Janiuay municipal police station, facing charges./PN
