ILOILO City – Police caught two men in a drug sting operation in Barangay Tagbak, Jaro district.
They were 24-year-old Juno Samontanes and 19-year-old AJ Mar Pari-an – both residents of Barangay Cari Mayor, Leganes, Iloilo.
Antidrug operatives of the Jaro police station staged Sunday’s entrapment that led to the confiscation of five sachets of suspected shabu and P1,100 marked money.
The suspects were detained and charged with violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
