ILOILO City – Five sachets of shabu were recovered from a 44-year-old drug pushing suspect from Jaro district.
Eljun Ledesma was a resident of Barangay San Isidro, Jaro. Around 6:40 a.m. yesterday, he was detained at the district’s police station lockup cell.
The suspect initially sold a sachet of shabu for P500 to a client that turned out to be an undercover police officer.
Four more sachets of shabu were seized from Ledesma.
The suspect faces a charge for illegal drug possession and peddling – acts prohibited by the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
