ILOILO City – A drinking binge turned injurious for a 19-year-old construction worker from Lambunao, Iloilo.
A colleague stabbed Jimmy Galeo of Barangay Agsirab, Lambunao while they were having drinks at a store in Barangay San Isidro, Jaro district, a police report showed.
The report identified the suspect as the 25-year-old Bernard Repusar of Barangay Desamparados, Jaro.
A heated argument ensued between them at around 10:40 p.m. on Friday, the police report stated.
Repusar attacked Galeo using a broken glass bottle, police said.
Galeo was confined in the Western Visayas Medical Center in Mandurriao district while Repusar was detained at the Jaro police station./PN
