ILOILO City – Two suspected drug pushers were arrested in Barangay Bito-on, Jaro district yesterday.
They were the 18-year-old John Liam and 32-year-old Shiela Nee Caberte, both residents of the village.
Liam and Caberte were arrested after they sold two sachets of shabu to an undercover officer for P4,000 around 1:30 a.m. on Feb. 27, a police report showed.
Officers from the Jaro police station said the two were newly identified drug personalities.
Liam and Caberte were detained in the police station’s custodial facility.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, will be filed against them./PN
