Jaro man yields P200-K ‘shabu’

ILOILO City – Suspected shabu valued at around P200,000 was seized from a man in a drug sting operation in Barangay Simon Ledesma, Jaro district.

The suspect was identified as 28-year-old resident Larry Fernandez, a police report showed.

Fernandez was caught after he sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P40,000 around  1:40 p.m. on Wednesday, the report  stated.

Detained in the lockup cell of the Jaro police station, the suspect faces charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
