ILOILO City – A man ended up in prison after punching his wife’s male officemate in La Paz district around 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 3.
The La Paz police withheld the names of the three people to protect their privacy.
The suspect got mad seeing his wife talking to another man.
He hit the victim several times, causing the latter to fall on the floor, police said.
According to the wife, she has been estranged from her husband for quite some time already due to his constant fits of jealousy which often led to trouble.
The suspect was taken into custody by the La Paz police.
It was unclear as of press time if the wife’s male friend would file charges against the former’s husband./PN
