ILOILO City – Drivers of public utility jeepneys (PUJs) will each be receiving P6,500 fuel subsidy from the national government.
“Nag-meeting kita upod kay Regional Director Ritchie Osmeña of the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB). Hambal ni director may ara subsidy pero wala pa nabal-an kon san-o maabot,” said Raymundo Parcon, president of the Western Visayas Transport Cooperative (WVTC) and Iloilo City Loop Alliance of Jeepney Operators and Drivers Association (ICLAJODA).
How the subsidy would be released remains unclear.
“Ang aton pangabay sa LTFRB dapat indi lang tani paghatag sa pasada card sang mga operators kundi i-butang
sa gasolinahan or pangalan sang mga drayber,” dugang ni Parcon./PN
