ILOILO City – An Australian national crossing the street in Barangay Edganzon, City Proper ended up in the hospital.
A passenger jeepney hit the 65-year-old Ivan Fir of Melbourne, Australia on Wednesday at around 8:15 p.m.
Fir was treated at the Iloilo Doctors’ Hospital.
Jeepney driver Felicito Chavez of Barangay Calubihan, Jaro district promised to shoulder Fir’s hospital expenses.
Chavez was driving a passenger jeepney plying the route Mandurriao – City Proper./PN
