ILOILO – A jeepney overshot the road in Barangay Maninila, Miag-ao town after crashing into a motorcycle.
Motorcycle driver identified as alias “Drandan,” 22, sustained minor injuries.
Police Captain Francis Donne Lomahan, chief of the Miag-ao Municipal Police Station, said the motorcycle was crossing the road when it was accidentally hit by a San Joaquin-bound jeepney loaded with around 20 passengers on Friday, August 16.
According to jeepney driver alias “Itsu,” 26, and a resident of Barangay Escalantera, San Joaquin, he tried to avoid the motorcycle but failed.
Lomahan added that the jeepney driver and his passengers were safe and unharmed.
Both parties agreed to settle the incident on Saturday, August 17, the police chief added./PN
